Organisational Readiness
Organisational readiness is about people, structure and culture. AI initiatives only succeed when management actively steers and employees are ready to work with AI. Many projects fail not on technology, but on resistance to change and lack of ownership.

Data Readiness
AI systems are only as smart as the data you feed them — garbage in, garbage out. Data readiness is about quality, availability and control: sources mapped, data silos broken down, data quality in order and governance in place (GDPR, ownership, security).

- Improve data quality — clean up and standardise definitions.

AI is more accessible than ever. Start small with direct tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Notion AI) and build towards AI that understands your own documents — via Retrieval-Augmented Generation or a custom model. Key: practical use cases, secure tooling, good guidance.

Business Value Readiness
Business value readiness ensures AI makes real impact. No "AI for AI's sake" but use cases aligned to strategy. Define KPIs upfront, choose quick wins for buy-in, involve end users early and ensure every investment traceably contributes to efficiency or customer satisfaction.

AI brings new questions: is the outcome fair? Can we explain decisions? Do we comply with the EU AI Act and GDPR? Solid AI governance establishes guidelines, principles and controls — and ensures everyone working with AI knows the rules.

What does being AI-ready actually mean?
Being AI-ready means your organisation is set up across five building blocks so that AI can be deployed successfully, responsibly and scalably: people & culture, data, technology, business value and governance & ethics. It is not a final destination, but a continuous learning process.
What do I get in the free leaflet?

Do we need data or an AI strategy to get started?
No. Especially if you don't yet have data or a strategy, the leaflet brings you structure. We help you from zero: from first inventory to pilot. Start small with clear questions and build from there.
How do you handle the EU AI Act and GDPR?
The entire Governance & Ethics building block is aligned with the EU AI Act (in force since 2 February 2025) and GDPR. We test models for bias, set up explainable AI and help with mandatory AI literacy for employees.
How long does a Kodify AI-readiness trajectory take?
An initial scan + power session can be completed within 2–3 weeks. A pilot with a quick win typically runs 6–10 weeks. Scaling and governance is an ongoing trajectory. We always work in short iterations with measurable results.
